Channel Lycanthropic Fury
Whether by infected bite or insidious curse, your blood was infected with the magic of lycanthropy. A ferocious, bestial form lies just beneath your skin, awaiting the allure of blood and the thrill of a hunt. Perhaps, if you can avoid the violence or the siren call of moonlight, you can resist the lycanthropic urge. Or perhaps you might embrace the infection as a blessing or wield it as a fearsome weapon.
Level 3: Lycanthrope
Your true form is a bestial hybrid, granting you the following benefits.
Claws. You have a set of vicious claws that you can use to make Unarmed Strikes. You can use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier for the attack and damage rolls of your Unarmed Strikes. When you deal damage with an Unarmed Strike, you can deal Slashing damage equal to 1d6 plus your Strength or Dexterity modifier instead of the strike’s normal damage.
Climb Speed. You gain a Climb Speed equal to your Speed.
Darkvision. You gain Darkvision with a range of 60 feet. If you already have Darkvision, its range increases by 60 feet.
Level 3: Bestial Aspect
In the throes of combat, you gradually lose control and slip into a beastlike form. The degree of your transformation is represented by your Bestial Aspect Level, which starts at 0. Your Bestial Aspect Level grants you benefits, as shown on the Bestial Aspect table. You gain all the benefits of your Bestial Aspect Level and lower.
When you deal damage to an enemy, you can take a Bonus Action to increase your Bestial Aspect Level by 1. If you don’t deal damage to an enemy for 1 minute, your Bestial Aspect Level resets to 0.
Bestial Aspect
| Level | Benefits |
|---|---|
| 0 | — |
| 1 | Carnage. You gain a +2 bonus to your damage rolls with weapons and Unarmed Strikes. |
| 2 | Fast Movement. Your Speed increases by 10 feet. |
| 3 | Blood Frenzy. You have Advantage on attack rolls against any creature that doesn’t have all its Hit Points. |
| 4 | Thick Hide. If you aren’t wielding a Shield, you gain a +2 bonus to AC. |
| 5 | Retaliation. When you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of yourself, you can take a Reaction to make one melee attack against that creature, using a weapon or an Unarmed Strike. |
Level 7: Feral Howl
When you roll Initiative, you can roll a d4 and increase your Bestial Aspect Level to the number rolled.
Level 11: Bloodthirsty Fury
You have gained control over your bestial rage, granting you the following benefits.
Bestial Mark. You can cast Hunter’s Mark as a part of the Bonus Action to increase your Bestial Aspect Level.
Greater Carnage. The damage bonus of your Carnage benefit increases to +3.
Level 15: Monstrous Resilience
Once per turn when you take damage, you can reduce the total damage you take, to a minimum of 0. The reduction equals your Constitution modifier plus your Bestial Aspect Level.
