You reinforce a willing creature’s skin with the tenacity and strength of steel. For the spell’s duration, the target’s base AC is 19 (a shield’s benefits apply as normal), and, at the start of each of the target’s turns it gains 2d6 temporary hit points. When the spell ends, the target loses any remaining temporary hit points granted by this spell.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the temporary hit points increase by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
